to host: SAP-DMS, service: 1090 failed (NIEHOST_UNKNOWN

You need to fix this, thats your host is not been reach, as I said you can change your OAC0/CSADMIN setting to point to the IP while your resolve your DNS issue.

Hi,

Just to analyze the issue i have from my r/3 os (AIX) i pinged my dms server(windows 2008) ip . Its getting reply.

But if i ping by hostname SAP-DMS its throwing error "0821-062 ping: hostname SAP-DMS NOT Found".  I have added entry in /etc/hosts file as

You can use the IP on OAC0, try removing the special character maybe.

Hi Kranthi,

Make a connection test on OAC0 under the content repository that you have just created to archiving.

If connection is ok then try to archive some document.

Cheers.

Hi Kranthi,

Check if the errors are not rellating the following Content Repositories:

Note 308977 - Repositories BIE_QMM, BIE_NET, HME_CONTENT,ED,A2 and B2

Check if on Content Server the URL: http://192.168.10.19:1090/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo to know if is a network issue.

Can you tell us if this URL works on the server ?

Thanks.

Hi Kranthi,

What are the release versions of the products:

SAP ERP:

Windows Server:

IIS version

Check of the following note help you to solve the error:

Note 794919 - Error Analysis : ICM_HTTP_TIMEOUT and Internal error

Thanks.

A simple test might help...

Go to SMICM -> Select HTTP Service ->  Click on "Service" -> Deactivate. (Assuming you don't have any other services depending on HTTP Service running at the moment)

Then test again, If it works then your ICM configuration is nor right.
