PI Monitoring error SolMan 7.1

Dear,

While configuring the PI monitoring on our Solution Manager 7.1 system, with a SAP PI 7.11, we face the following error in the step Load Meta-Data (step 4.2):

SoapFaultCode:5
javax.ejb.EJBException: (Failed in component:
sap.com/com.sap.xi.directory.webservices640, BC-XI-IBD) Exception raised from
invocation of public
com.sap.aii.ibdir.server.api.types.CommunicationChannelQue

I checked the NetWeaver Administrator on our SAP PI system and the Java EE application com.sap.xi.directory.webservices640 is started.

Please advice.

Hi,

can be connecton issue between solman and PI systedm.

Have you completed the managed system configuration of yourPI sytem ,including configurtion check s t green?

run the landscape verification tool for PI system s t green?

make sure you have given enough auth to proceed PI monitoing(includig web service auth)?

and also have you applied the latest correction note for SM 7.1 SP 4 or 5?

Still the issue, check the way to proceed the Load metat-data Manually. there you may get more relevant error detail

Hi Jansi,

It seems to be a problem with user SM_COLL_xxx. Within the managed system setup, this user should have been created with the correct authorizations, but this was not the case

The user was created, but no roles attached. I did this manually to solve the problem.
