Email Language & attachment in Offline approval

Hi Experts,

need ur expertise in Offline approval Email Language & Attachment option in report /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND

1. Email language: We have three options- Recipient Language, Work Item Language & System Language.

Now for Recipient Language - from where system will pick the language in which it has to send mail. If from user profile, we have maintained as EN, then what might be the reason that system is sending mails in different language. We do have different languages and emails should be sent based on the country specific.

2. Email Attachments: Attach as Print version & Document Attachments.

If i select the document attachments - then there is a possibility of Emails containing attachments which were attached in the shopping cart?

Please give your suggestions.

Hello Jagad,

For your question 1: Requester Language is pick up from Function Module BAPI_USER_GET_DETAIL for the above report. This Function module brings language in field  ls_address-langu_p . Please execute the function module standalone with approver ID and see what language it is pulling? There may be chances that language is different in User attribute.

For your question 2: Yes, If you will select 2nd option Attach Document Attachments then it will send attachment to approver in email but prior to that you have to select Message Frequency as One E-mail per work item (i.e. not collected workitems.).
