Shopping Cart error 'Document Currently Locked' during approving

Hello,

Can anyone help me to resolve below issue in production environment,

An approver is trying to approve the SC then getting message as "Document currently locked"  hence he could not able to approve the SC

I have cheked the Table: BBP_WFLOCK but not found any lock entries..

So, what could be the root cause and solution?

Hi,

Check Txn SM04 as well SM12 to see if the user is blocking ones own approval and see if one has multiple sessions open.

Checked SM04 and SM12 but could not find any locks

Hi Venkat,

The lock which you are referring that you have checked in SM04 or SM12 may have removed. This is standard SRM behavior that if approver or requester processing document and they close the browser without logging off then after re-opening browser they will see their ID is locking shopping cart.

This lock usually get remove itself within 20 min. Thats why you did not see anything in SM04 or SM12. I am pretty sure that approver may have approved the cart after that.
