How to Apply AM2 against Material Group Field in Display Sale Order

Hello everyone,

we have three material groups like (00002, 00003, 00009) .we want to restrict one of our user on the material group level.i-e he can only create, change and display any of the sale document just in 00009 and can not see any documnet of other material group (00002, 00003).

we have already created an object to restric the material group but it only works at user exit whereas we want to restrict it at the time of data entry (creation, change and display).

Hi Abdul ,

In SU01 u can maintain the roles , u can restrict the roles from fiend level

Dear Ramesh,

We already have maintained an object " Z_SD_MATKL " to control the Material Group in SU01 but as told u in query above, it only works at user exit ( means working correctly for VA01 & VA02 ) but in va03 user can display documents of all material groups. kindly do refer any object related to Material Group that can controll or apply on the entire role.

In the VA03 he can do change any thing in va03 then wt is the requirment for the same

Dear, actually its a company policy that only concern persons assigned to a specific brand can access their related data, either its at the time of craeating a Document or at displaying a Document.

Dear Abdul Mannan,

As you have already maintained an object " Z_SD_MATKL " to control the Material Group while giving Va03 transaction  to the particular user ,go to his authorizations and  restrict material group (00002, 00003).I think this will solve the problem , but you need help from basis experts regarding the restrictions.
