Want to delete old data from sap

Hi All,

I have a server running from 2000.I have taken a backup of this and built a new server.

Now the requirement is i don't want all the data.I just need only last 3 years of data.

Will it be possible. If so please help me.

To consistently move your business data out of the SAP database into an archive location use the SAP archiving feature.

Yes, it is possible. You need to archive old data. But process is not so trivial
