Adpeters selection help

Dear Experts,

Please kindly help me the with the selection of adapters .i.e.

1.what is the selection creatria with business sceniro.

2.On what basis one should decide the specific adpaters needed to be selected etc.

3.Any link explaining the creatira of selection.

I am aware of the types of adapters and there uses available on help.sap.

Its typo error

should be Adapters in subject line and Criteria(not creatira)

Hi Shankar,

You should think that the adapters change in every PI version, you should be more concrete. Adapters available in SAP PI 71 http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-3795

The adapter decision depending of you client requeriments. If you client generate a file you must use the file adapter,  if you go to send an email you must use the mail adapte, if you go to conect an SAP ecc system you can use RFC, IDOC adapter or Proxy abap but your business logic will orient you in the right decision.

Finally it's very important to understand the difference between the sender and receiver in every adapter and the best way is to read the SAP documentation because it could a very large post to explain all and it's very well documented by SAP.
