How to connect NWDS to DI system for development

Hi,

I installed NWDI on our HR Portal ESS/XSS version 7.01 SP3.  Then, I configured DTR, CBS and CMS.  I created a test track, did the Check-In, Imported development and then Imported to consolidation.  For example,

sap.com_EP_BUILDT 7.01 Level 3 Update applNW70103RcurU2503 Make Not executed Import finished

sap.com_SAP-JEE 7.01 Level 3 Update NW701_03_REL.090701 Make Not executed Import finished

sap.com_SAP_BUILDT 7.01 Level 3 Update bpscoreNW70103RcurU1 Make Not executed Import finished

sap.com_SAP_ESS 603 Level 5 Update ERP53PAT.01280442 SAP AG Not executed Import finished

sap.com_SAP_JTECHS 7.01 Level 3 Update NW701_03_REL.110602 Make Not executed Import finished

sap.com_SAPPCUI_GP 603 Level 5 Update ERP53VAL.08101056 SAP AG Not executed Import finished

Now, I wanted to know how my NWDS connect to DI for development system.  On NWDS, I configured the following settings (Preferences -> J2EE engine and

Preferences -> SAP Enterprise Portal) which point to the new DI system.  All I see is "OFFLINE"  in NWDS Repository Browser.  What else do I need to do on NWDS to connect to the new DI?  What are the steps developers need to do to start doing development on portal?

Hi Jun,

Forgot to mention I did that sld url already.  I click on "ping server" button and got this message:

URL: http://solman.abc.com:50000

Warning:User authentication is not checked in offline mode.

Anything else I am missing?
