Hello experts,
I'm having an issue with the plugin status in the "Managed Systems Configuration" step. I recently upgraded my ST-A/PI components in most of the managed systems and in Solman 7.1 to the newer ST-A/PI 01P_700. After having done this, the plugin status on these systems turned to red and the following error appears:
No ST-A/PI Software Component exists. It should be ST-A/PI 01N_700SOL , ST-A/PI 01N_46CAPO , ST-A/PI 01N_46DAPO , ST-A/PI 01N_620SCM , ST-A/PI 01N_640SCM , ST-A/PI 01N_700SCM , ST-A/PI 01N_610CRM , ST-A/PI 01N_620CR3 , ST-A/PI 01N_620CR4 , ST-A/PI 01N_700CRM , ST-A/PI 01N_40B_R3 , ST-A/PI 01N_45B_R3 , ST-A/PI 01N_46B_R3 , ST-A/PI 01N_46C_R3 , ST-A/PI 01N_620_R3 , ST-A/PI 01N_640ECC , ST-A/PI 01N_700ECC , ST-A/PI 01N_46BBCO , ST-A/PI 01N_46CBCO , ST-A/PI 01N_46DBCO , ST-A/PI 01N_610BCO , ST-A/PI 01N_620BCO , ST-A/PI 01N_640BCO , ST-A/PI 01N_700BCO , ST-A/PI 01N_710BCO
Today i updated the CIM and CR content of the central SLD to the latest version, so that the ST-A/PI 01P_700 is recognized in the sld catalog. The upgrade went well, but the error continues.
The other thing i noticed is that although the SLD current model version states 1.6.29 and the CR content version is SAP_CR 8.2, when i go to the details of the technical system editor of one of the managed systems on which i upgraded the st-a/pi, the CIM class version states 1.6.12 which i find quite weird.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
Hi Juan,
I had the same problem and logged a question with SAP. My problem is now solved.
The solution was
1.Update SLD SAP Content
2 Apply these 2 OSS notes
1599582 : Plugin Status Details - Delete sp_level check for
1710170 : SAP Solution Manager Diagnostics Software
3.After applying 1599582
Navigate to System Preparation, Step 3 or Sub-Step 3.3 (depending on your SAP Solution Manager SP version) and execute the postprocessing
Then I went back into Managed System Configuration and clicked on the update icon to update the plug-in status and it went GREEN.
Also please note 1599582 was updated 20/2/2013. You need this update.
Regards
Tom

Hi Yudi,
I have checked this Note and found that this Note is not released for customer. According to this note solution is to " Request a patch from development if the CR Content and all system are on
the same ST-API patch level."
Can you please follow below mentioned steps:
Refer to SAP Note 1639266: It recommands to update the SAP CR CONTENT in the connected SLD before implementing SP Stack in your SAP Solution Manager.
Please implement the note 669669 in order to make sure that the CR Content is up-to-date. Make sure the system is sending the data to the right SLD target, so please make sure the system data supplier is configured correctly (transaction RZ70 for the SOL ABAP system)
Check that If the note 1710170 (for 7.1) is implemented. Please make sure that the managed system meets the requirements of the following section of note 1483508:
===============================================
Prerequisites for NW ABAP based Managed Systems:
===============================================
Check that if the note 1599582 is implemented. Also see the point Solution in this note 1599582:
Solution
- Implement the correction instruction attached to this note.
- Start transaction solman_setup.
- Navigate to System Preparation, Step 3.3 and execute the
postprocessing.

Sachin
Hi, thank for the replies.
I tried to implement note 1599582 but when i import it the status is gray and says: cannot be implemented.
The thing is that i overlooked the last part of the note when it refers to the manual pre implement and didn't do it before i imported the note (and i haven't done it yet because i cannot figure out what im supposed to do manually)
Meanwhile in the "Managed Systems configuration" step, the plugin status light has now turned into a warning (this happened overnight, i didn't change anything) that states:
This Technical System has not the required ST-A/PI. Current version is ST-A/PI 01P_700 4 It should be ST-A/PI 01N_700SOL4, ST-A/PI 01N_46CAPO4, ST-A/PI 01N_46DAPO4, ST-A/PI 01N_620SCM4, ST-A/PI 01N_640SCM4, ST-A/PI 01N_700SCM4, ST-A/PI 01N_610CRM4, ST-A/PI 01N_620CR34, ST-A/PI 01N_620CR44, ST-A/PI 01N_700CRM4, ST-A/PI 01N_40B_R34, ST-A/PI 01N_45B_R34, ST-A/PI 01N_46B_R34, ST-A/PI 01N_46C_R34, ST-A/PI 01N_620_R34, ST-A/PI 01N_640ECC4, ST-A/PI 01N_700ECC4, ST-A/PI 01N_46BBCO4, ST-A/PI 01N_46CBCO4, ST-A/PI 01N_46DBCO4, ST-A/PI 01N_610BCO4, ST-A/PI 01N_620BCO4, ST-A/PI 01N_640BCO4, ST-A/PI 01N_700BCO4, ST-A/PI 01N_710BCO4

Hi Kumar,
i am sorry to bump into this thread which was not opened by me but as there is no reply since 6th of july and i have the same issue i would like to add some points
first of all i am new to solman therefore i apologize for any stupid question i may ask.
We have solman 7.1.
How to determine the sp stack version?
is it in spam the version of ST support package?
sometimes i read notes which speak about sp01 or sp05 and i dont know which version i am
Also, when i came in my company the solman_setup was not done so i launched it.
in system preparation i face the error message
"Solution Manager does not fulfill the Diagnostics prerequisites"
when i clic on details i have:
"
ST-A/PI 01N_700SOL is not installed | ||||
| Please check SAP Note 1483508 for more information |
i downloaded this support package but then on saint it does not see it and on spam it is present with status obsolete
Could you please give me your opinion?
Regards,
Adel
Hi,
Please check your current patchlevel from ST-A/PI regarding the note 69455 and if the note 1599582 is missing in your system, please implement it.
Hope it works for you.

Sachin
