Hi,
I am trying to work with ERP Order status app with SUP2.1.2.
But i am getting HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden as response code from NW gateway.
What could be the problem, as i have configured all the configurations in a recommended way on NW GW & SAP Backend.
Please suggest.
regards,
shrikant.
Hello,
I experienced similar situation with customer financial fact sheet and the solution I've applied was the following:
1.
Enter transaction SICF and choose Execute.
The Maintain service screen is displayed.
2.
Choose default_host sapopuodatasap and double-click on FINCUSTFACTSHEET.
The Create/Change a Service screen is displayed.
3.
On the Service Data tab, choose the GUI Configuration pushbutton.
The dialog box Display Service Parameters is displayed.
4.
Enter the value 0 for parameter ~CHECK_CSRF_TOKEN.
5.
Save your data.
Maybe there's something simila for your app.

Hi Srikant,
1. Did you provide the "Proxy" end point when you created application connection in SCC?
2. Are you getting this error on SUP or from gateway? You can check this by running the same URL in any browser.
You can do the below settings to enable payload logging at SCC. This will help to check URl/request being fired and response returned from gateway.
1. Domain>>DomainName>>Log>>Settings>>New >> Enter a name
2.Select "Application Connection" and chose your User
3. Select "payload" and chose "request response"
4. Select "Enable after creation"
Save the settings.
Change the log level at Server>>Logs>>Unwired Server>>Settings>>Proxy>>Debug.
Fire a new request from your application.
Under Domain>>DomainName>>Log>>General>>Proxy, click on retrive to get the logs.
Check and verify the URL by entering same URL in any browser.
If you are getting the same error from browser as well, then you need to configure the gateway correctly.

Hi Rohith,
1. Yes, i have provided proxy endpoint. Infact, i hadn't changed the default proxy endpoint provided in SCC & just provided the Application endpoint.
2. Yes , I am getting this error in SUP, i checked in Logs which states that the response code received from Gateway is "HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden" & on device i am getting error "Forbidden".
I have checked running same Service Document URL of NW Gateway server on browser & it running fine as i can see the XML properly.
Also, i have checked it running the URL by appending $Metadata & <CollectionName> also to URL one by one.
Did you mean should i check with the Proxy URL also?
Please suggest.
Regards,
Shrikant.
Hi Srikant,
Check the below
1. You should check the URL being fired from your application. You can find this URL in the logs(if you have enabled log settings). Run the same URL in the browser and confirm it is correct.
The URL format should be in the format http://<server>:8008/sap/opu/sdata/sap/LWMSD_ORDERSTATUS/?sap-client=400&sap-language=EN
Check if you are missing "/" after LWMSD_ORDERSTATUS in URL. You can correct this by adding "/" to the application end point at SCC.
Ex: application end point: http://<server>:8008/sap/opu/sdata/sap/LWMSD_ORDERSTATUS/
2. If you do not see any problem with the above, Deregister your device with SCC, delete your application ID and recreate by roving the application end point in SCC.
By doing so, you can recreate the connection pool to your gateway server.
I hope, one of the above should solve your problem.

Rohith

Thanks Rohith for response.

Hi Srikant,
Looks like you are out of "Forbidden" error now. Lets focus on "ORDER_STATUS" first..
In order to resolve the other issue, Let me try to brief you how it works.
You configure the service end point URL at application in SCC.
Your application will get this URL and append some other details and fire the complete URL to SUP.
SUP redirect the same URL to gateway and returns the response obtained back to your application.
Ex: Service end point at SCC http://<server>:8008/sap/opu/sdata/sap/LWMSD_ORDERSTATUS/
Suffix appended by app: "?sap-client=400&sap-language=EN"
Service doc URL formed by application http://<server>:8008/sap/opu/sdata/sap/LWMSD_ORDERSTATUS/?sap-client=400&sap-language=EN
Similarly Metadata URL formed by application
http://<server>:8008/sap/opu/sdata/sap/LWMSD_ORDERSTATUS/$metadata?sap-client=400&sap-language=EN
We can suspect 2 points here.
1. URL formed by application is incorrect.(missing "/" or additional "/" in URL)
2. URL is correct and gateway is not able to process the request.
To drill down more, please provide complete Logs where we can check the URL fired by application and response recieved from gateway.
You can refer to thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/2144708 for more details on how to get logs.

Rohith

Hi Srikant,
The only way I know is debugging using payload logging. I still dont see payload in your logs. First you have to enable payload logging. As I mentioned earlier, please enable the logs and check what is the requet URL, what are the header sent.
Here are the steps to enable logging.
Delete all the logs.
1. Domain>>DomainName>>Log>>Settings>>New >> Enter a name
2.Select "Application Connection" and chose your User
3. Select "payload" and chose "request response"
4. Select "Enable after creation"
Save the settings.
Change the log level at Server>>Logs>>Unwired Server>>Settings.. Change log level Proxy and MMS to "Debug" and save changes. Fire new request and get the logs from
Server>>Logs>>Unwired Server>>General

Regards,
Shrikant.
Thanks Rohith for the reply.
Yes, i am seeing the response code as 200.
So, do you know what can be the issue?.
Also, i am facing a issue with setting up a Relay Server.
For which i opened up a new thread.

Hi Shrikant,
you could give it a try and scrap the client and language url parameters from the URL in SCC.
Instead you put this information into the SICF service, lwmsd_orderstatus in your Gateway.
This solved my issue, http://scn.sap.com/thread/3195766
- Delete and register again in SCC.
- Delete and re-install App

Hi Rohith Deraje.
I'm trying to connect the application EmployeeLookup RDS but I'm having an error similar to Shrikant. I tell you my scenario:
1º The part of the backend is runnning perfectly. I test the service and I see the XML.The URL generated is http://myserver:8000/sap/opu/odata/mive/employeelookup/
2º In the machine where I have installed Sybase, I can also see the same URL.
3º The problem is when I create a new proxy end point connection to my application from SCC. I always receive the next message: Endpoint test result: Unauthorized. The user I'm using is created in the SCC, Gateway and backend with the same password.
Where is the problem? Any security configuration?
I would like to add that I have not configured the relay server. I want to test the application in a enviroment for testing.
Thanks.
