Connection settings between ECC and PI7.3

Hi Experts,

I am new to SAP PI 7.3. We are just setting up the connections between ECC 6.0 and SAP PI 7.3(Java Stack).

Can someone pls provide the list of actions that are to be carried out(in both the systems) for setting up  the connection between the two systems.
