Hi,
I would like to know how to open gui screen from dbmcli command prompt?
Thanks in advance
Hello,
1.
you could use two different tools for creating and managing database instances:
DBMGUI <Graphical user interface>
< it's recommended to use DB studio with the new released DB versions >
or
dbmcli <Command line tool>
Please see the details in MAXDB library:
http://maxdb.sap.com/doc/7_6/default.htm
-> Tools
2.
What is the version of MAXDB database?
What MAXDB software did you install on your machine?

Hello,
1. Please install database studio on your machine to do the database administration of 7.8 MAXDB.
http://maxdb.sap.com/doc/7_8/default.htm
2. DBMGUI could be installed on Windows server.
To call the Database Manager GUI program, use the Microsoft Windows start menu or the relevant shortcut.
After you installed the DBMGUI on your machine, started the DBMGUI => add the MAXDB database:
Please see the details in MAXDB library:

-> Database Manager GUI
-> Managing Database Instances
