discount based on overall quandity in Sale order !

I have a sale order with "many" line items. how can I give discount (say more than 30 bottles - its 2% discount and more than 40 - it is 5% discount, so on. ) based on the "overall quandity" ??

Hi saravanam,

Create one group condition type with calculation type " quantity "  and maintain condition record , so system will calculated total quantity . For the price, maintain scale in condition record.

that was really useful. can u jus tell me how to maintain a condition record based on same material group ? plz. i have created 3 different mateials with same material group. i have also activated the condition type pr00 as  "group condition" . now, how to maintainthe condition rec for allthe 3 materials taht r with same mat grp... (is it same as vk11 - mat with rel status or some thing else. plz guide...)

Hi saravanan,

i said group condition not material group. i will try to explain the process .

• create a new condition type and activate group condition field or activate the same in existing condition type (ex: K007) in V/06. if you want any specify procedure for grouping the materials , use group cond routine.

• Select scale base as quantity ( as per your requirement )

• Go to Tcode VK11 and maintain condition record.

 

• Select the condition record and Click on scales and maintain scale value based on requirement (30 pc - 2% , 40 pc - 5%)

• Save the record, Now you can see the result in header data--> condition tab.

Hi Saravanan,

its normal like in vk11     Material/customer/material group (1)

Qty  30 to 40      bottles - its 2% discount

more than 41  bottles          it is 5% discount

suppose u order material 1         20

                               material 2        20

                               material 3        20

if u order 60 qty  then 5%

if u not maintain material grp

Then

                               material 1         20    discount 2%

                               material 2        20    discount 2%

                               material 3        20   discount 2%
