Sorry if this sounds very naive. I've been brushing up some concepts on secure communication...Pl. confirm if the below is correct:
1. Digital signatures help to verify the sender of information & prevent tampering.
2. Digital envelopes help to verify the sender of information, prevent tampering & ensure that only the intended receiver receives it.
3. SSL is a technology that implements digital envelope ?
How different is SSL / TLS ? Can we say SSL is a type of TLS ?
