how i can prevent user from entering free goods manually in sales order ?

Dear sd gurus

          i have one requirement from clint side for free of goods

we only want to give 150 cases of  material to customers as a free of goods in one month( limited free of goods)

once he reached maximum limit of quantity system should block

any stranded setting is there in vbn1?

Thank you for your posting still have one doubt

for free of goods we maintain condition records in vbn1 but you are telling to maintain condition update in condition records of pricing .

in pricing condition  update how it controls of free of goods bz generally it controls maximum quantity's, maximum values but which is pricing related

pl let me know , i am mistaken or not

By reading the business requirement i.e.

I thought free goods can be given in two ways:

1. Using Free goods determination

2. By giving a discount which is equal to the price + other charges (e.g. value of PR00 + surcharges etc.)

To stop a discount after the attainment of a "limit" is a functionality that we can achieve with Condition update functionality.

Thus I went with approach 2 and condition update functionality.

E.g.

MMR price = 10Euros, thus price for150EA = 1500Euros.

Z005 (similar to K005) is a discount condition type.

In pricing procedure arrange Z005 in such a way (with Reference From To) that the value of Z005 = Price + other charages. Thus the value of the material would be zero. In other words Free goods.

Maximum condition value of Z005 = 1500Euros.

After selling 150EA, the goods shall NOT be free any more.

This was my thinking behind my above suggestion.
