Hello All,
Is it possible to have an Open field for person responsible in tasks functionality of quality notifications.
All the Partner functions are linked to some master data like Vendor, customer, User Ids etc.
Can i create a partner function without this link, so that i can enter the person name manually?
We do not have SAP HR implemented but we have maintained Personnel Id and Name in HR master. Org unit link and other details are not maintained.
Please let me know if i can use this data as well??
Thanks
Hi Neeraj,
If you are using Responsible column then you can't enter manual value there. You need select from the list only.
Explore Completed By field in task tab if you can use for this purpose. This is manual entry field and visible in QM12.

Hello Neeraj,
In standard SAP, field-Task Processor identifies the partner function for the person responsible for the task. You can select any kind of processor from available like - User Responsible, Person Responsible, Sold To Party etc. and based on which you need to maintain value/number in field-Responsible; which will be person/partner for Task.
All this info is available in Tab-Tasks in Quality Notifications.
The main difference between an activity and a task is that an activity does not have a
status and cannot be assigned a partner.
Please check in your system & revert.

Anup

Hi Anup
Person Responsible (Partner-VW) has a partner type-PE (Personnnel Number)
Co-ordinator (KO) also has a partner type PE
Tried both, But still it does not accept the value saying that it does not exists.
Might be that it refers a table where no entry is present in our system due to the minimum data maintained for HR master.
