Problem SAPMMC - DB SnapIn - URL to DB

Hi All,

after installation of the Preview JEE5 - Server i could start the SAP Management Console.

During the installation i was connected to the network and my local computername was enhanced with the domain-name.

If i look into the sap mmc i had several entries with a wrong url, because i'm not connected to the domain-controller (only local).

If i cklick on the db-icon at the sap mmc i see the error-page with http://computername.domain:9999/webdbm. could not found ! (Domain - name does not exist)

If i call the url on the browser with http://localhost:9999 or http://computername:9999,

i could see and administrate the db or the other topics.

How can I change this url to the local pc-name or to localhost ?

Can i change the url in a profile, regestry or any host entry ?

Hi Jürgen,

Try this: Go to C:SAPJP1SYSprofile (assuming a default installation) and edit the property j2ee/dbadminurl accordingly. Then restart the system and the SAPMMC.
