Hi Experts,
We are using Planning calendars as the requirement is some products should start only on Monday and some on thursdaya so we have assigned monday calendar and thursday calendar in the product master. BY period is ticked and period type is K.in the lotsize view. planned order start date should be on either on monday or thursday. But the sytem is not respecting and the planned order start date and is something which is not considering the planning calendar. Can anyone throw some light on to this.
Regards
Shruths
Hi,
You need to set flag "use period factor" in product master.
Also please apply note 1731346.
If the resource have no capacity to fulfill the order on start date in planning calendar then date will be rescheduled according to your strategy profile. You may check your resource capacity in transaction /n/sapapo/rest02.
if you need further checking, you may create an OSS.

Hello Shruthi,
Please check the validity of factory alendar also.
Look for the below link:
http://scn.sap.com/thread/1701866
Check the resource capacity also along with the factory calendar.
If the resource have no capacity to fulfill the order on start date in planning calendar then date will not be the same.
Once your planning calendar and factory calendar are valid the planned order should have a valid start date.
Hope this helps
