WBS status back to CRTD from REL

Hi all,

I have created a project & some WBS elements & then release the project. now i want to delete any particular WBS and use that Short ID for new WBS. is this possible & how?

Hi Govind,

I think as long as you dont book costs on WBS, released WBS can be deleted. If you try to recreate same WBS, system issues CJ026 error message. This error can be resolved using notes 1583392 & 1289337.

If you have booked costs then set deletion flag.

Once you release WBS, you can not physically delete it from database but only put deletion flag.

I think you can not use same name for another WBS element.

Dear Sir,

I have create a Project & released it & saved, and now when i create a new WBS or Network in this project, it was automatically released. so there are any procedure to change the status of Project back from REL.
