SOLMAN user creation problem

Hi experts

i have 3 user in my solman

1.ddic as super user at client 800

2.basis at client 800

3.basis at client 001

i want to create different user at client 800, but my 1st and second user both are unable to open SU01 for 800 client.

pls help me how to create user at 800 client.

Hi,

Users are client specific.

you cannt see the user created in other client, in the login client.

login ddic user in client 800. create new user from su01 tcode . or click f4 in the user field. you cansee the list of users already available in client 800 and copy from those users.

for steps to create users,Just google it, even you get youtube videos too.

i m login ddic in client 800.

but su01 t code is not working over hare .

it showing error that "you are not authorized to use T code su01.

Hi,

you need to assign proper auth to the user DDIC, to create users

better su01 -> select user DDIC -> change -> profile tab -> give SAP_All

this solves your issue.

but ddic is not opening any tcode

how do i check the profile tab of ddic

Hi Bipin,

yes, i forgotten, no issues. do u have other user in client 800 with admin access.

can you login with the client 800, with the user which you used for CLIENT COPY of 800.

hope you have the user which has all the admin access, because without tat you couldnt even created the client 800.

thanks a lot this problem resolved now.

now i m getting a problem when i m doing initial configuration of the solution manger on step " configure the SAD" during SOLMAN_SETUP.

should i have to configure sld ffirst?
