Message creation for Key User within CRM_UI

Hello!

We are trying to create an Incident message from CRM_UI for the key users.

The appropriate business role is SOLMANREQU and appropriate transaction type is ZMIN (Copy of SMIN of VAR).

The following errors are coming up:

Item 10: No item category could be determined.

Item 10: Conversion factors are invalid

We already assigned to the product investigation the service product SRVP via tcode ncommpr01.

Then we defined item categorization Determination for the transaction type ZMIN --> SRVP 

Also we activated a categorization schema for the copied transaction type ZMIN.

Any idea which customizing we miss here?

Hi,

if you sure you already implemented latest correction note and all badi activation of incident management

the above issue still with your item category determination

may i knw what u defined as Item category for zmin?

can you check from scratch here and correct it

and other important tips and hints from Pascal here

Hello Alex,

If you did not solve your problem yet, the following steps worked for me:

- In transaction BP, set the customer you want to create a message to as a "Sold-To Party"

- Go in "Sales Area Data" menu which appears next to "Relationships"

- Click on "Choose Sales Area..." and select your desired sales org. unit

- Fields Sales Organization, Distribution channel and Division are automatically filled

- Save, leave and edit again your BP

- Go to "Sales Area Data"

- Go to "Billing" tab and edit the field "Currency"

Ran into the same issue on SP6. The key for me was in Pascal's guide (http://scn.sap.com/thread/141580).

In transaction COMMPR01; for the product defined, the item category group under the Service tab needed to be set to "SRVP".
