Difference Between IM and WM

Hi,

I am facing a issue .

A material is transferred from one plant to another plant by 301 Mvt Type.

Both the storage locations of the plant ( issuing and receiving ) are attached to a single Warehouse.

In the recieving Location stock is shown in IM only and not in WM .

This transaction happened some two years back.

Storage Location is not HU managed.

I checked in the LX23 and it is showing the difference of 1 Piece between IM and WM ( in WM it is not there).

How to clear this diffference?

I had checked SAP notes 535043,660009and 583723 but remain inconclusive.

Please advise.

Hi,

As transaction is 2 years back, are you sure at that time also Both Plant+sloc combination was attached to warehouse? If it is like that, then have you created TO for material document generated and also check have you confirm that TO.

As it is two years back movement do the physical inventory at warehouse level then it will clear differences between IM and  WM.

Still it is not the relevant option for which user is ready.

Please let me know how to do that as I am unable to find the PI document number >

Refer below steps .

This required to match the stock between IM and WM qty.WE have seen similar kind of issues like this before for us SAP also suggested this.

LI01N - create / activate inventory doc

(LI02N - activate)

LI11N - enter count result

LI20 - clear differences WM

LI21 - clear differences IM (please use interim storage type 999)
