error in deleting objects from org structure in SRM system:Assignment to subordinate objects (Organizational Unit Store 0839, for example), not possible

Hi,

We are facing error in deleting few objects from org structure in SRM system, when we go for delete object option it’s showing error:

“Assignment to subordinate objects (Organizational Unit Store 0839, for example), not possible”

But there is neither superior nor any subordinate object  assigned, If any of you have faced same issue some time, Please provide your valuable guidance.

Can you try and run report RHRHDL00 with this object and see if you are able to delete?

Hi,

You should delete BP first. Try report BUPA_TEST_DELETE. Select BP id from org structure.

Hi Vinay,

I tried deleting BP through BUPA_TEST_DELETE, and I am very sucessfull in deleting the BP there. But when in check in PPOSA_BBP i can still see that number reflecting there next to  object. and I am still not able to delete the objects.

Use Txn BBPMAININT; select BP & delete.

Hi Vinay,

The objects are not vendor or bidder, It's abandoned area nodes. Hence BBPMAININT is of no use there.  But for trial sake i tried deleting BP with BBPMAININT, it's giving message "Please enter valid desired vendor number".
