Is there a way to disable this file? I've only found system parameters for that but nothing about a property in JCo to disable that??

I have the same problem: need to disable rfc trace in order to achieve better performance.
Still no answer? I tried with properties file and jco.server.trace=0 but nothing happens.

You can do this from smgw tx in R/3 also.
