Dear All ,

Environment"

ECC 6.0 EHP5 on High Availaibility MSCS.

SQL Server 2008 R2

I wanted to Configure CCMS Auto reaction Alert for DB backup however when I go to

RZ20->SAP CCMS Monitor Templates->Database-> I couldn't find the MTE "Microsoft SQL Server"  instead it displays following.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

View: Current system status ( 02.07.2012 , 08:37:45 )

   Node display off

   Database

          Database Host Operating System
          R/3 DB Clients (Applicationservers)

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I'm not sure if it's because of database installation on virtual host as part of the High availaibility setup????I can see the same on development and quality systems.

Can please help me to find the same??

Thanks

Hello Khaiser,

Did you try to use report RSDBMON0 to re-create the RZ20 tree?

yes Eduardo ,

I used that report and created the SQL server monitor tree.

Hello Khaiser,

Try the following steps:

1) In Transaction RZ20, select "SAP CCMS monitor templates" -> "Database".

2) Activate the maintenance functions in Transaction RZ20:
Choose "Extras -> Activate maintenance functions"

3) Position the cursor on the Microsoft SQL Server node and reset all alerts:
Choose "Edit -> Nodes (MTE) -> Reset"

4) Position the cursor on the Microsoft SQL Server node and delete the Microsoft SQL Server MTE tree:
Choose "Edit -> Nodes (MTE) -> Delete". (Select option 2)

5) Recreate the Microsoft SQL Server context on Central Instance server with the ABAP RSDBMON0 program:
Logon to your 'Central Instance' server and in transaction SE38,
    select "Program: RSDBMON0 -> Execute".

Regards,

Eduardo
