Hi All ,
On GRC 10.0 , when we run an adhoc risk analysis via Access Management tab and run it as a background job , for how long will be results be available via Scheduling-> Background Jobs .
Is there a parameter to control this ?
The concern here is with regard to growth of DB due adhoc jobs.
Thanks ,Ranjiv
Hi Ranjiv,
Please refer to the below mentioned SAP note:-
1580877 - Best practices in storage management for SoD analysis jobs
1646988 - AC V10 Spool icon is not displaying next to ad hoc risk analysis background job ID
1700811 - Scheduling the action usage full sync job
I hope this will get you some relevant information.

Yukti

Hi Ranjiv,
As ashish mentioned the result is stored in the above mentioned table's and every time you run a adhoc risk analysis job be it in background or foreground the data in the table's will grow.
The data is appended and not overwritten every time you run a risk analysis job.
You can control the growth of the data in the table 's by using the program GRAC_DELETE_REPORT_SPOOL.You can schedule this as a daily job or you can delete the data
manually when rever you want.
If you still feel the data is huge you can change the storage location from database to file system.
Thanks and Regards

Hello Japneet,
Thanks for your above specified information as I found it relevant in my scenario. I would like to know what could be done if in case we decide to archive the data before deleting it.
I found utility GRAC_EXPORT_REPORT_SPOOL which exports the data. Could you suggest any alternate means in this space.

Hi Ranjiv,
The program BP_JOB_DELETE is used to delete the jobs manually.
Best regards,
Smriti
