SAP SCM 7.0 Installation Media information required

Hello Team,

I am planning to install SAP SCM-APO 7.0 on Windows server 2003 R2. After installing SCM-APO, I will be installing livecache on same host.

I have gone through the media list document on market place, but not so clear about the exact media CDs to download.

Can you please help me to understand the exact file to download ASAP?

Hi,

Go to service.sap.com/swdc-->installations and upgrades---> A-Z index--->click on S--->Installation

here two options based on NW 7.01 or NW 7.3 based on requirement download all DVDs.

you require databased and db patches DVDs also.

for more detailed information go through master guide.

Thanks for your responce.

I have gone through the media guide Installations and Upgrades - S" SAP SCM" SAP SCM 7.0-->Installation----> based on SAP NetWeaver 7.01--->

Here I can find the media CD lebels as SAP SCM 7.0 SR1 Installation Export 1 of 3, 2of 3...etc

Same media information is not provided in media guide. Hence I wanted to know the exact media names.

The confusion is because I am performing installation first time.

Please help.

You need to download the following DVD:

Assuming its Windows on  x86_64 .

51040127_11 NW 7.01 SR1 Inst.Mst. WIN Server x64 64bit Oracle 10.2/11.2   (for Oracle)

51038620_13 BS 7 SR1 Installation Master Windows Server on x64 64bit  (for non-Oracle)

EXE 51036984_1 SAP SCM 7.0 SR1 Installation Export 1 of 3 

RAR 51036984_2 SAP SCM 7.0 SR1 Installation Export 2 of 3 

RAR 51036984_3 SAP SCM 7.0 SR1 Installation Export 3 of 3 

51036865_13 BS 7 SR1 liveCache 7.7.04 Windows Server on x64 64bit  (For LiveCache)

Then you can go to

Installations and Upgrades - N" SAP NETWEAVER" SAP EHP1 FOR SAP NETWEAVER  -> Microsoft Windows -> ORACLE Database

Thanks a lot for the exact details. It cleared my most of the questions.

One question - there is a additional media

NW 7.01 SR1 Inst.Mst. WIN Server IA64 64bit Oracle 10.2/11.2

Is it installation DVD for oracle? Can it be used for installation of DB instance?

Otherwise I will download Oracle software as you suggested.

This media is for windows on Itanium hardware.
