SAP License

Dear All,

We are using SAP ECC 6, Oracle 11g on HP UX 11.31 for one company code and one controlling area.

We have another small company which has diffrent legal entity.

Can we configure that company in same production instance with same license ? or we have to go for another license.

If we have to go for another license then what are the licensing policy ?

Thanks,

Hi,

You can configure that company in same system with different company code. License part will come only for additional number of users that will login to the system for new company.

Thanks

Thanks Sunny.

As this company is small it's business transactions done by same employees/users (around 2-3 users).

Same users can do transactions for both the company? or we have to procure another users for that company.

Hi,

You can use same users but you have to cross check your EULA.

Thanks

Thanks Sunny.

I have cheked EULA.

In EULA only number of users with user type bifercation mentioned.

The aggrement with Company name i.e. with existing company code.

But from your reply and I have searched google and also based on EULA,   SAP Licenses are always based on Component we are using and number of USERS. Not for how many company codes we are creating and configuring.

Is it correct ?
