Hi all,
On importing the SWCV SNC 7.0 in ESR from SLD, we are not able to see any namespaces under it.
Could you please help.
Regards,
Aditi
HI Aditi,
This PRODUCT is not properly imported in SLD.
please follow the below steps :
To import products, do the following:
1.Log on to the System Landscape Directory as a user with administrator privileges.
2.Select the Administration link at top‐left. Then click Import link under the Content section.
3.Click the Browse button and navigate to the product import .zip file
4.Click “Import Selected File”.
5.Click “Continue Import”. Status of the import is shown at the top of the page. When completed, a status message appears. The number of objects loaded may vary depending on your integration scenario. You can assume the import was successful if no errors occurred.
6.Verify that the imported product and software component versions are present in SLD. Select link Home, and then Software Catalog. Scroll to the bottom.
Final step : You import Objects into the import directory of you XI repository.
Regads,
Venkat.

Hi,
For SNC7.0 there is one tpz file that needs to be downloaded and then imported into PI.
BTW, which TPZ file u have imported? Can u try doing it again?
Markeplace - >Under software download ->support packages and patches -> search packages* -> XI CONTENT SNC 7.0 (depending upon the SNC SP download the XI contnet tpz file)
Thanks

Hi Trevor,
Thanks for your reply.
Have now imported the XI Content SNC 7.0 and now we are able to resolve the above issue.
But there is version conflict in some of the objects. And when i try to resolve version conflict , it asks whether we want to keep the conflicting version or the active version.
How should we decide on that? Also what is the difference between the two?
Regards,
Aditi
Hi,
If u want to override the old object (like SI, MM etc) with the new imported (conflicted) object then chosse "conflicting version" and if in case u choose active version then it will discard that specific new object changes and keep ur older object intact:

Hello,
You try this:
1. Go to your changelist
2. Reject any namespace that you have manually created for that SWCV
3. Reimport the standard content
Hope this helps,
Mark

Hi Aditi,
You will not have namespaces after importing the SWCV from SLD. namesapces needs to be created manually in ESR,
Please create namespaces manually under the SWCV. after selecting the SWCV go to chnage mode and add all the namespaces you want.

Nayan
