I have one object in which i have to process an idoc..ie inbound..

and i have to make a process code which will post the idoc and will create a batch determination record mimicking the processing in transaction VCH1.

but i am unclear with the concept of batch determination record an transaction VCH!.

Can anybody plz clear my doubt?

and to give a bit more of info...

VCH1 is used to maintain the condition records for Batch determination. It is similar to maintaining the pricing or output condition records, where in you have key combinations to select from and then maintain the data appropriately.

Only if the data is maintained correctly in VCH1, the "Automatic Batch determination" in sales order or delivery would take place
