Partner Header Name2 field

Hello,

I have run into a recent issue which I have not been able to determine the root cause. I have a one time customer and if I make a change to the name2 field  for this partner in the delivery document it is changing the name2 field for that partner in the sales document header as well. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Dear Richard Lewis

Its true that when you enter a name2 different in delivery document header of the customer surely it affects the sales order header name2 of that same one time account customer . If you could go with the note Shiva Ram mentioned its great or else maybe a text field could be maintained in the delivery texts.

Per OSS note 380507 - SD partner determination: FAQ for the functions - point 5, it is standard behavior. If you want to change this, then you may need to check OSS Note 97832 - Duplicating manual addresses that are already used
