Executing target system XYZ differs from the system for accounting ABC

Hi guys,

  I have the following error message " Line 1: Executing target system SRDCLNT123 differs from the system for accounting ECDCLNT120  " when I put the material code for a purchase.

  When I open the Matchcode for Material, there isn`t the logical system of my backend system as default even I put within Organizationall Structure. If the final step is to filter again the material using my backend system and after submit the purchase order, the message doens`t come up.

    It seems that the logical system of item is changing in a moment of the process.

Also, in additoin to that, if you are making PO using a Contract, then check that the Contract's Line item were created with correct Product Category and Backend system Mapping.

I faced the similar error and later we introduced line items with proper Combination. Then, PO Line items were updated with the New Line item numbers and the issue was resolved.

Hello,

Target system is derived from the product category customizing (SPRO)

SAP Supplier Relationship Management-> SRM Server-> Technical Basic Settings->

Define Backend System for Product Category

The system for accounting is from Org attribute ACS.

So make sure the Target system and value in ACS are same.
