Roles from non-unicode to unicode system

We are building a new project landscape system which will be unicode compliant.

Our current ECC system is non-unicode.

Here is my question....will I be able to dowload roles from the current non unicode system and upload them to the project landscape unicode system? Or will I need to duplicate my work in each system?

Hi Bobbi,

You can copy roles from non unicode to unicode system as roles donot hold dependency over uniocode or non unicode system.

But make yourself clear,that Z Reports in roles should be unicode compatible because they can surprise you.
