Hi ,
I am using sender file adapter with NFS protocol for picking file from PI server when third party places it
In that facing strange issue that my file is not being picked from PI server when third party place it .My file adapter keeps polling . However when I copy the file from source directory and put in my desktop and then again placing it in the same directory it is being picked up . I don't make any change either in the file content or name but simply move the file from source to my desktop and then again place it to source directory . please suggest if any of you have face similar issue or have any clue about this strange problem
Regards,
Saurabh
This is surely an access rights problem, as indicated by the previous answers.

Hi Saurabh,
Can you please check polling interval set in the communication channel. Is it set long?

Source directory might be Unix system. To execute the files that are placed in the source folder by PI file adapter it requires permissions.
Simple do the below steps for testing.
Suppose filename is abc.txt then
chmod 777 abc.txt
