Prepaid Billing in SAP IS-U

Hi Experts,

Can anybody guide me as to how to approch the process of Prepaid Billing implementation in SAP IS-U?

Moderator note - thread locked.  As can be seen, lots of documentation easily available.  And the question is too vague and provides no details.

There are SPRO settings in SAP for the Prepaid Billing and Prepayment  Meter .

So you can follow the path given in screenshot.

First go to ...SPRO -> Utilities -> Customer Services.

And then follow the screen shot.

Hi Saustav,

IN SAP easy access , u can manage the meter data for the prepaid billing and meter data...

Under this node u can manage the amount for the prepayment meter. there u can give the End Billing Period and Start Billing Period, and also other parameters. Check this out

Hi Saustav,

What I have the basic information is:-

Prepayment Meter is the kind of meter on which the consumed quantity is paid in advance. Payment mode depends upon client process.

The amounts are collected as liek the prepaid telephone bills.

The prepaid amounts are updated in e file which is uploaded into sap system ( example-as like a MR upload process), the file is executed and the amount is credited to the corresponding contract accounts as a credit open item with a specific document type.

The same can be monitored in FPL9- Open item display transaction.
