SU01 only for User lock and unlock

Hi experts

I wanted to provide SU01 only for lock and unlock users. Then I created a 'transaction variant' only for that perticular purpose. Then I created the transaction though se93 and then create a role assigning that TCODE.

But when I tried to use this tcode I can see the lock/unlock botton but when i tried to do that it says :You are not authorized to lock users in group 5500.

What can be the Issue. please look at this and correct me.

Above Issue is resolved. But When I tried to create the Transaction variant and go to save it it ask to provide a package.

Which package should I mentioned.

Hi Priyan,

Create a package it's not a big issue u r a basis guy for u r reference in future it will ask in which package under u want to save.

Press F4 on the package tab it will show u what are the packages are available in your system.

If no related to Basis then create a Basis package.

Ex for naming convention "ZBASIS".

There are many ways to unlock the user, one could use either one of the following methods:

SU01, EWZ5, or Program BAPI_USER_UNLOCK
