Searching document in the structure

Hello,

When I try to search for documents in Document Browser tab (CV04n) I’m not getting any results…

If I just go to the Document Browser tab and try to search DIR nothing happens but if I manually

expand the structure and then search for the same document I’m getting correct results.

I would say this is incorrect system behavior.

Furthermore is there any t-code for Multilevel DIR BOM? CSD5 is not enough…

I created OSS message and below you can see an explanation which can be useful for some of you:

…When you try to search the cell contents for a keyword for the first time without expanding the tree, the buffer is still not filled with the cell contents. The buffer gets filled only when you expand the folder for the first time and after that only, it will be possible to search…

Hi,

    Try to search with CV04 transaction, see whether it is also returning any DIRs?

Hi,

Well t-code which you mentioned is not in use anymore… I’m getting all the time pop up with info use CV04n instead.

We are using TREX so searching documents via CV04n work very good.

I’m more reporting here wrong system behavior when searching documents via Document Browser.
