Tickets become unusable with message 'Not all tasks for request released'

Dear,

Some tickets get locked after a while. The status for these tickets cannot be changed anymore, not even by the administrators. The error message that is displayed is: 'Not all tasks for request released'. We have obviously checked the relevant TR's and all tasks are effectively released. But we have had other issues with the 7.1 tickets that had an incorrect error message, so I assume this will also be the case here. Rechecking these tickets does not help, the same error message appears.

The problem seems to be random, it happens to some tickets after we have created several tasks in the same TR. The users that encounter these problems are all experienced users so they know what they are doing.

Has anyone encountered this before?

Hi,

From your above statement I can assume that you are working with CHARM.

normally "Not all the task for the request relesed" occur if you miss one task inside TR to release.

Since you already mentioned you sure about all tasks already relased, still you are getting this error.

Have you applied recent charm correction note? if not please do so; note 1574224,

And also check the sap note Note 1588244 - Normal Correction: not all TRs released after consolidation
