ID objects error

Hello every one

I am getting below error when i am trying to open ID objects

Connection to system REPOSITORY using application REPOSITORY lost. Detailed information: Error accessing "http://sapdev2:52200/rep/query/int?container=any" with user "PIDIRUSER". Response code is 401, response message is "Unauthorized"

can any one please help me out of this

Hi,

It looks like some issue with password of PIDIRUSER.

Check the below SAP Note in marketplace and follow the steps:

#999962 - PI 7.10: Change passwords of PI service users

Also look out SU01 if user is locked or not.

Thanks very much for your help, i have got one more small doubt.

i just want to know if i can change passwords of PI service users. will it effect other users also.

I think it is BASIS peoples job to deal with such type of things. I am thinking about giving this job to BASIS team instead of dealing it my self.

please correct me i am wrong

Hi,

Yes it is a basis job to check and rectify these errors. You can also provide the SAP note to them and they will follow. In this case, you are only suppose to follow steps for changing password of PIDIRUSER. But before changing anything, look out in SU01 if user is locked.

All these activities will be carried out by BASIS team.

See that PIDIRUSER is not locked and make sure that latest password is maintained in Exchange profile as well.

entry should be there already for ID( I am away from PI system).

if password got changed then update the same in exchange profile.

This clearly says there is authorization issue. Please check the login credentials for PIDIRUSER. You can refer below threads for some solutions.
