How to copy the header text from Quotation to Order

I have a requirement how to copy Header text From Quotaion (ZQT) to Order (ZORD) in copy control.

HI,

There are few steps you have to follow to acheive this.

1) Create a new text determination procedure

SPRO--> Sales and Distribution ® Basic Functions ® Text Control ®   Define and Assign Text Determination Procedures

Select: Sales document / header

Choose Text procedure

Choose Texts in procedure for procedure 01.

Choose the clipboard functio n "Mark" by holding down the Ctrl key and pressing Y

(the cursor will become a cross).

Select all the entries on the screen by dragging the cursor from ID through Seq.

Choose the clipboard function “Copy“ by holding down the Ctrl key and pressing

C.

Return to the screen “Maintain: Text Det. Proc. Sales Document Header”

Create the entry for your procedure ID (for ex 51) "Header text group 01".

Choose "Texts in procedure" for your procedure

Choose the clipboard function “Paste“ by holding down the Ctrl key and pressing V

to paste the copied entries into your procedure.

Save your entries.

2) Create new Access Sequnce (for eg: 91)

  Sales and Distribution ® Basic Functions ® Text Control ®  Define Access Sequences for Determining Texts

Select: Sales document / header

Create access sequence 91, Grp91 Access Seq.:

Menu path:

Select Access Sequences.

Add entry 91, Grp91 Access Seq. and press “Enter”.

Select your access sequence and choose Access sequence.

Enter: Text Object: VBBK

ID 0001 (depends)

Language source: all

Requirement: 1 (Reference document header)

Save and generate the access sequence.

Return to the Maintain: Text Determination screen.

3) Include the text type, access sequence  in your new text determination procedure

4) Assign the new text determination procedure to your order document type ZOR

Sales and Distribution ® Basic Functions ® Text Control ® Define and Assign Text Determination Procedures

Select: Sales document / header

Choose Text procedure

Choose Text Proc. Assignment.

Enter document type ZOR in the "Sales doc. type" field.

Save the text procedure assignment.

5) Now you can create a quotation and add a text at header

6) Create a sales order with reference to the quotation. It should copy the text from Quotation Header to sales order Header
