Name 2 of customer master VS First name

Hi ,

I  have  filled  in   the  customer  master the  field NAME 2  but  later  when  I  try  to  search via  address  attribuites  the  customer  there  is  available  field  first  name.

I  suppose they  are  the  same-but  after  searching  the  customer  I  can  see that  the  field  content  of  first  name  is  empty.

How  the  field  first  name  gets  updated??

Because  for  some  customers  I  have  the  value  updated  and  for  some  not.....

Dear Germo

While the name2 field is entered in customer master , this does not show up in first name in customer search help via address attributes . You could have an abap'er look at that field in that structure . The best way to find out is the search term which is available in address attributes.
