Product Heuristics results

Hi Gurus,

I'd like to seek for your help regarding our scenario. Currently, we are using Product Heuristic in APO. We have 2 open ConRel (31,535 and 15,168) dated 7/31 successfully CIFed from ECC and available in the Element tab of Product View. Also, we have PReqRel of 66,666 dated 7/31. Upon running of Product Heuristic, the system provided Planned Orders of 31,535, 15,168 and 19,963 (a total of 66,666). This is not what we are expecting because we need to have only 2 Planned Orders of 33,333 which is the batch size of the product (a total of 66,666). This always happens everytime there is an open ConRel. Now, what MD or changes should we make in order to meet the expected results of 33,333 and 33,333 Planned Orders. Please advise. Thanks

Hi,

It depends what kind of product heuristic you re using. If it's standrard lots heuristic (SAP_PP_002), your current planning behavior is due to Lot-for-lot lot size procedure. If you want to create planned order with same quantity, you can change to use fixed lot size procedure.
