Source Demand In Deployment Run

Hi All,

I need to consider the demand at source location (Plant ) in deployment run

I using the below settings:

Fair Share Distribution for Covering the Demand

Fair Share Rule - A

Push Pull horizon - 30 days

T-Lanes

SNP 2 - Consider Forecast at Source Location Ticked

Using Planning Area 9AVMI03 and the planning book 9ADRP_FSS

Deployment Run : Re-plan all

SPRO - does not transfer deployment stock transfers to the ERP

But the system is deploying all the stocks to DC even though the Plant has FC requirements. I am looking for distribution as mentioned in the 3rd column.

Note: I noticed while Running Deployment; key figure Deployment Reservation Quantity is not getting populated

Am I missing on anything; do I need to implement any specific SAP note

Hello Vikas,

Which release and which support package level are you on?

Please make sure that in your planning area, Keyfigure function '4101' is assigned to the object Keyfigure '9ATSRESQ' for the aggregate '9AMALO'.

Maybe you can add some more details or screenshots of your scenario - before and after deployment run.

Thanks for the quick responce.

Its seem its working now...I think I missed on something...

But, is it mandatory it mandatory to assign KF Funcation '4101' to KF '9ATSRESQ'.

I see no difference before and after assignment. Its same result w/o assignment too.

Also KF '9ATSRESQ' is editable and contains no data even after Deployment run. Is it normal ??

Hello Vikas,

I think it's necessary to have key figure function for that KF. Please refer to SAP note 1415022.

KF '9ATSRESQ' should be always editable in standard planning book.

After deployment run, it should contain the reserved quantity result from 'consider forecast at source location'. If it's all empty, it's a little strange -- why you think it's working then?

At least I see that you have included distribution demand (planned) into your ATI group, which should not be the  case - instead, you shold include distribution demand (confirmed).

And please do assign KF Funcation '4101' to KF '9ATSRESQ', this is neccesary. Otherwise the key figure value could not be populated.

Besides, which scenario do you want to acheive? "Coverage of the Demand at the Source Location Is Preferred" or "Fair Share Distribution Across the Demand at Source and Destination Locations" ?

How do I assign KF Funcation '4101' to KF '9ATSRESQ'.

Do I change in standard planning area or Copy Std PA and then change.

I tried changing in std its not allowing..

Can I use 9ATSRESQ with any other Planning Book or it will only work with Planning Area 9AVMI03 and the planning book 9ADRP_FSS.

Hello Vikas,

Of course you can use it in your own planning area. But you'de better first copy standard Planning Area 9AVMI03 and then make your customizing change.

Will it be fine if I use PB Z9ASNP94 / DV SNP94 (copy of the std PB 9ASNP94) and then use KF 9ATSRESQ in this PB.

Of course you can use your customizing planning book.

I don't know the definition of your PB Z9ASNP94 / DV SNP94, but you must have similar configuration from the standard planning book 9ADRP_FSS.

I'm having the same issue, i'm not able to get a value after Deployment run.
can you remember what you did to finally get the value?

I'm using planning area/book and data view, all the standards *FSS
