On SCPM 1.0 Support Pack 9, on trying to start data upload the error message
Message:
Event [FaultEvent fault=[RPC Fault faultString="Error #1009" faultCode="EncodingError" faultDetail="null"] messageId=null type="fault" bubbles=false cancelable=true eventPhase=2] Failed

Hi Ashish,
You can get this error for a number of reasons:
1. If the connection with the backend has closed - due to idle time, unavailability of backend or network issues.
2. The corresponsing web services have not been enabled. Please go to the installation guide and check whether all the required services are active.
3. Try logging out and then in before you try another data upload.
Let me know if the error still appears.

However, none of the reasons provided by you apply in this case.
1. Connection to backend is open - the other tasks which access the BW system runs successfully.
2. All the corresponding web services as per the installation guides are active.
3. Logging out and then again trying to do another data loads also does not work.
This is first time post install config for SCPM and no prior data loads have been done.
Any other suggestions ?
