Configuration of ArchiveLink with SAP system Database

Hello everybody,

I have to implement ArchiveLink at a customer to store PDF file but there is no external archiving server, so I want to use SAP system Database as the storage type.

What I did:

tCode OAC0

"New Entry":

Content Rep.    ZHRPARTENA

Description     Data Storage

Document Area ArchiveLink
Storage type SAP system database
Rep. Sub-Type
Version no.     0046

Contents table  ZCONT_DB (copy of SDOKCONT1)
Transfer drctry \\D10.tes.local\te\FICO\APPL\IHRIS\ARCHIVELINK\
Phys. path      \\D10.tes.local\te\FICO\APPL\IHRIS\ARCHIVELINK\

tCode OAC2

Creation of doc type

ZPRTNAPDF Archive of personnel payslip PDF

Problem is on tCode OAC3

I want to create a new entry of this kind

PREL ZPRTNAPDF X ... TOAHR   => the ... (Content Rep. ID) should be ZHRPARTENA

But I'm not able to choose it. On the search help there is only one entry available.

So I tried to manually enter it on the table TOAAR but there is a lot of info to put like "http server".

I tired then to make an entry in file storage mode with any http server information but the upload with tCode OAOH went wrong with message "Repository PS not accessible by HTTP".

I thank you in advance for all your help!

Yassine.

Hi Yassine,

the name of the content repositories in the Document Area: "ArchiveLink" have to be exactly two characters long. I hope this will help. You can find more info in the SAP Note 595563.
