Solution manager 7.1 new installation or upgrade ?

Hi All,

Solution manager 7.0 EHP1 is currently running  with only EWA configurations, no ther configurations and no other data is available in that Solution manager system.Client is planned to go for solution manager 7.1.

Now, my doubt is it compulsary to go Solution manager upgrade or can I go for the Direct installation for solution mnager 7.1. ?

Please give me the suggestion.

Hi Reddy. 

If you are consirn about the old EWA data what u have in  Solution manager 7.0 EHP1   then you have to go for upgrade option.

Otherwise you can go for fresh installation which is handy
