Delivering plant

Hi all,

I have a problem as to when i create sales order & enter delivering plant at header level & save it, After that when i go to change mode, the delivering plant field

is blank, while at item level we can see the plant, why is this happening, pls. help me in this regard

This is not a 'problem', this is standard functionality.

'Delivering plant' in the header of the order is used as a method to default the entry of new items so that they will be created a specific plant.  This can be useful when there is no other determination process; e.g. there is no default entry in the Material Master,  and there is no default in the Customer Master. In this way, the user does not have to type in the delivering plant on each Sales order item. 

This contents of this field in the header is not saved in standard.
