Reason for the step triggered automatically while processing at pc level.

hi experts,

      The pc is got scheduled  for daily loads but on particular day the infopackage step at the pc level is triggered  again while it is under  processing and end up with errors and instance is not generated  ( details found comparing timings in the chain tab of process monitor)..

      No mannual triggering happen

       pc scheduled daily  only for once

      parallel processing of the infopackages is going on under one start variant.

     Issue:-What might be the reason why the step got triggered while it is running ,in case if it the system issue  what action to be taken....

     Note:-  The over all status of the pc chain is success...please provide the details.
