File Receiver-NFS UserID?

Hello Experts,

I have a scenario where we are placing files to a Unix share drive which is mounted on PI(as a result we can see those through AL11 in PI).

As we are using NFS at receiver file communication channel,we do not use any UserId/Pwd explicitly. But the share drive admin wants to know the USerId of PI which used to write the files.Do any one know what is the exact UserId which is used by file adapter to write the file in a NFS directory?

P.S.Helpfull answers would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Arijit

Hi Michal,

Sorry but I could not find any user id in su01 with name <sid>adm, where <sid> stands for my PI system ID.

Any more idea?

Thanks,

Arijit

<sid>adm is OS level user, so it won't be available in SU01.

Hi,

it's not in SU01 - it's an OS system user

check the users on your OS on which PI is installed and you will find <sid>adm

is that clear now ?
