action box in SAP

HI EXPERTS,

our quality dept. taking results of inspection lot , as soon as they complete their work they have to intimate production or consult dept. for next process

is this possible through ACTION BOX.  GUIDE THE STEP BY STEP PROCESS WITH CONFIGURATION

Please Explain ur business process.

What i Understand is, Testing is done by Quality peoples at different stages, and after completing tests and recording results Qm person has to intimate PP dept.

Create Operations in Inspection plan (QP01)

Use control key as such Operation confirmation will be done by QM.

hi,

Action box used in QM notifications, where u need to configure the Actions which needs to be triggered durin creation, in -process and completion.

During lot if u have entered any data in notification than u may use this Action box facility. like if u have entered any defect than system will give u a pop-up screen for defect recording which you have in QM10 with some notification number than only u use the action box w.r.t Lot.

As far intimation to some department is concern w.r.t lot then better to use workflow techniques or follow up action key during lot completion.

When you process quality notifications, maintenance notifications, or service notifications, you can use the action box to execute follow-up functions
